Privacy Notice
This notice explains which personal data The Collectors Circle processes when you use this website or contact us, for what purpose and on what basis. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP, revised 2023) and, where it applies to visitors from the EU or EEA, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data we process
When you use the forms (search request, sell request, Vault access request) we process the details you enter: name, email address, telephone number if given, your interest and your message. When you visit the site, technical data is processed to deliver it: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages visited, date and time. This data is processed on the hosting infrastructure and in aggregated, non-identifying form for analytics.
Purposes and legal basis
We process form data to answer your request, to review an access request for the Vault, and to prepare or perform a contract with you (FADP art. 31; GDPR art. 6 para. 1 lit. b). We process technical data to provide, secure and improve the website on the basis of our legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6 para. 1 lit. f). Where we ask for consent, for example for the embedded map, the processing is based on that consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no tracking cookies of its own. We use Vercel Analytics, a privacy-friendly measurement that counts page views without cookies and without identifying individuals. A single technical entry in your browser's local storage remembers your cookie choice. The embedded Google Map is loaded only after you allow it; Google may then set cookies and process your IP address under its own privacy policy.
Processors and transfers
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc., USA, with servers in the EU and the USA. Form messages are delivered by Resend Inc., USA. Where your data leaves Switzerland or the EEA, it is protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses as recognised by the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, or by an adequacy decision. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Retention
Form submissions are kept as long as necessary to handle your request and any resulting business relationship, then deleted, unless statutory retention obligations (in particular under Swiss commercial and tax law, generally ten years for business records) require longer storage. Technical logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
Your rights
You have the right to information about the personal data we hold about you, to correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Write to info@thecollectorscircle.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, in the EU, with your competent supervisory authority.
Security
The website is delivered exclusively over TLS-encrypted connections. Form data is validated on the server, transmitted encrypted and accessible only to the people who handle your request.
Minors
This website is not directed at persons under 18. We do not knowingly process data of minors.
Changes
We may adapt this notice to reflect legal or operational changes. The current version is always published here.
